But suddenly, the cuff on his wrist merges with the sword, restoring it to its full power. But when Evelyn and Kronis track them down, Adam attempts to fight back with the Sword. Teela convinces Adam to help her get the sword out of the village. Teela is taken prisoner by the Tiger Tribe colony and is visited by Adam, an amnesiac city teenager who grew up in the woods with his best friend Krass and father figure Cringer. Upon retrieving the sword, Teela receives a telepathic message from a mysterious being who tells her to get the sword to the "champion".
